Subject to the Conditions set out below, without prejudice to the legal warranties provided under national law, Comfort Seating UK Ltd warrants all new brand products are free from defects in materials or workmanship at the time of delivery and will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of 40 months, 5, or 10 years (depending on product under standard, 8 hours per day, office use. 24/7 use on Elite Gen 2 products will be limited to a 40-month warranty unless otherwise stated. Please refer to extended warranty conditions below.

The above warranty is given by Comfort Seating UK Ltd subject to the following conditions:

2.1List Item 3
Comfort Seating UK Ltd shall be under no liability in respect of any defect in the Goods arising from any drawing, design or specification supplied by the Buyer.

2.2List Item 4
Comfort Seating UK Ltd shall be under no liability in respect of any defect arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, negligence, abnormal working conditions, failure to follow the Comfort Seating UK Ltd instructions (whether oral or in writing), misuse or alteration or repair of the Goods without Comfort Seating UK Ltd approval.

Comfort Seating UK Ltd shall be under no liability under the above warranty (or any other warranty, condition or guarantee) if the total price for the Goods has not been paid by the due date for payment.

The above warranty does not extend to parts, materials or equipment not manufactured by the Comfort Seating UK Ltd, in respect of which the Buyer shall only be entitled to the benefit of any such warranty or guarantee as is given by the manufacturer to the Seller.

The warranty is valid from the date of delivery to the original End User and is non-transferable.

This warranty applies only to products delivered in United Kingdom and Northern Ireland.

Comfort Seating will repair or replace with comparable product, at its option and free of charge (for materials and components) any product, part or component which fails under normal use.

3.1
Within the first 5 years of warranty, Comfort Seating UK Ltd will pay carriage costs from the End User if the chair needs to be returned to Comfort Seating for repair. After 5 years, the End User is liable for any carriage costs. Where possible, we will provide parts for the End User to replace and provide helpful instructions.
End User means the final purchaser acquiring a product from Comfort Seating or a Comfort Seating Authorised Reseller for the purchaser’s own use and not for resale or distribution.
10 YEARS
Covers production and construction defects with exception of:
- Parts being damage due to normal wear and tear (like castors, armpads, upholstery).
- Products that have been stored, assembled,or maintained / cleaned wrongly.
- Products that have been placed outdoors or in a humid environment.
- Product has been exposed to prolonged strong sunlight or heat.
- Products that are non-standard sizes (non-standard sizes are not covered by Comfort Seating UK Ltd test certificates regarding strength, durability and stability).
- Ex-display, demo chairs, or used chairs.
- Chairs that have been used by persons whose weight exceeds maximum weight loading.

Spare parts for our Gen 2 models will be available for a minimum period of 10 years from the date of product purchase.
5 YEARS
We structurally warranty all our Gen 1 models; visitor chairs, Contract and Project seating; and accessories for single shift (8-hour daily) use for 5 years.
Spare parts for Gen 1 products will be available for a minimum period of 5 years from the date of product purchase.
40 MONTHS
We structurally warranty all our Elite Gen 2 chairs that are in 24-hour / multi-shift use (unless otherwise stated) for 40 months.*
